    • Care Worker - Entry Level

      CareWays are seeking Entry Level Care Workers with a can-do attitude, a friendly and caring nature, to provide assistance to our clients. If this describes you, you may be one of the individuals we seek to join our team as our new Care Worker in the Illawarra.


      About the role

      If you are looking to start your career in aged care and are willing to obtain your Certificate III in individual support (or equivalent) then we are looking for you! 


      This position reports to the Care Worker Supervisor and provides a range of services to our elderly clients to support them to remain in their home. Whilst you are completing your studies you can provide domestic assistance, shopping and transport to appointments. 


      Upon completion of your certificate III, you will also be able to provide personal care, social support and respite.


      We have several casual positions available with hours available to work around your study and life commitments.

      About you

      To be considered you must have:

      • Working towards or willing to obtain certificate III in Individual Support or equivalent qualifications
      • Current first aid certificate
      • Driver’s licence and reliable car with full comprehensive insurance

      • Basic knowledge in using computers and emails 
      • COVID-19 Booster vaccinated 

      Remuneration

      Position is subject to award conditions under the Social, Community, Home Care and Disability Services Industry Award 2010 as Home Care Employee Grade 1. Mobile phone, uniform and laundering allowance provided as well as travel time between clients and kilometres.

    • Care Worker - Level 2

      CareWays Community are seeking Care Workers with a can-do attitude, a friendly and caring nature, to provide assistance to our aged care clients.


      About the role

      This position reports to the Care Worker Supervisor and provides a range of services to our elderly clients to support them to remain in their home. These services can include domestic assistance, personal care, social support, shopping, respite and transport to appointments.

      To be considered you must have:

      • Certificate III in Individual Support, aged care or disability. Completion of Bachelor of Nursing degree first year is also suitable.

      Remuneration

      Position is subject to award conditions under the Social, Community, Home Care and Disability Services Industry Award 2010 as Home Care Employee Grade 2 ($36.89-$37.14 per hour). Uniform and laundering allowance provided as well as travel time between clients and kilometres. Option to access salary packaging for part-time employees.

    • Client Service Partner

      Position Vacant


      Client Services Partner

      CareWays Community has been providing services to the community for more than 30 years through in-home care and support for the elderly, Neighbourhood Centres and Youth Services. 


      About the role


      We are looking for an experienced Client Services Partner with initiative, judgement, and administrative ability. This position is based out of our head office at the Dapto Ribbonwood Centre. It is a fulltime position, working Monday to Friday with an option of a monthly ADO. 

      The Client Services Partner will join our experienced In-Home Care team and will work in collaboration with the team to enhance the quality of our client’s health, wellbeing and care. The position also overseas our Meals on Wheels clients and volunteers.

      About you


      To be considered you must have:

      • Relevant tertiary qualifications at Degree/Associate Diploma/certificate 3 level (Business, Admin and/or aged care) and or 4 years’ experience in a similar position
      • Current drivers’ licence and working with children’s check. 
      • Highly developed interpersonal, communication skills and emotional intelligence with the proven ability to foster relationships and connect with internal and external stakeholders.
      • Accurate data entry skills and computer literacy in MS Office 
      • Demonstrated experience in Home Care service delivery, procurement, and contract management.
      • Experience in service development and driving continuous quality improvement and practice and service excellence aligning to Aged Care Quality standards.
      • COVID Booster vaccination
      • Ability to work until 5pm Monday to Friday
